Considering our main issue with the Fire TV Stick 4K Max was that we found it a “little expensive”, this massive price cut is seriously welcome and makes the streaming stick that bit more appealing. 

With 4K Ultra HD, Dolby Vision, HDR 10 Plus and Dolby Atmos support, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max allows you to stream everything from TV series to football matches and the latest blockbuster with vivid colours and brightness.

While we, perhaps unsurprisingly, found the Fire TV Stick’s home page is biased towards Amazon Prime Video and Freevee content, it’s good to know you can also download your favourite apps like Disney Plus, Netflix and Spotify too. 

Otherwise, scrolling through content feels “fluid and faster” than its processor, thanks to the new processor. Searching titles is also made faster thanks to the included Alexa-enabled remote, which allows you to bring up content with just your voice. 

Setting up the Fire TV Stick 4K Max is seriously easy too, as you simply plug the device directly into your TV’s HDMI input, then attach the power cable and plug into your socket. From here, simply follow the steps on screen and you’ll be streaming before you know it.
