The Pixel 9 Pro is one of the best phones you can buy right now, and thanks to this huge saving, it’s also one of the more affordable.

As part of a limited time sales event, £300 has been chopped off the price of Google’s flagship smartphone. So, instead of it costing £999, you can now grab the phone and all its AI features for just £699.

Considering this is a flagship phone, with a spec sheet to match, it’s very impressive that it can be had for the same price as the base, rather than Pro, iPhone 16.

This is the lowest price we’ve seen the Pixel 9 Pro drop to, with the previous low being £799. At the time, we felt this was an excellent price drop that already represented excellent

The deal covers the 128GB storage model in all colours (pink, black, white and grey) and is, according to Google, running until June 17 – although that date could always change, and of course, the phone could go out of stock.

According to some marketing material sent out by Google, the reason behind this frankly ludicrous sale is to celebrate Liverpool FC picking up its 20th title win and ‘the end of an incredible season.’

We’re big fans of the Pixel 9 Pro

The Pixel 9 Pro is one of the smaller flagship phones on the market, thanks to its 6.3-inch display, but it doesn’t sacrifice any power.

There’s the wide range of Gemini AI features onboard, powered by Google’s Tensor chipset, plus a trio of rear cameras that can capture some truly terrific snaps. Pixel phones have always been praised for the photography experience and it’s no different here.

At £699, this price drop puts the Pixel 9 Pro more in line with a mid-range phone – although very few of them on the market can match what’s on offer here.
