While we haven’t reviewed this exact model as it’s still a fairly new one, we have had great experience with Shark vacuums in the past so it shouldn’t be too hard to imagine that the company’s eye for quality continues with this appliance.

As the name implies, the PowerDetect is able to autonomously analyse the dirt on your floor in real time, and adjust its suction levels to accommodate for the situation at hand. This is brilliant as it means you don’t have to constantly switch between modes because the vacuum will handle all that for you.

The DuoClean brush also allows the vacuum to clean as you move it both forwards and backwards so that debris can be collected more quickly than with a typical vacuum. During this time, the anti-odour technology also kicks in to avoid any horrendous smells from collecting inside the vacuum and reaching your nostrils when you need to empty the bin.
